I had a lot of allergy testing done as a teen/young adult and I don't think I would have ever figured any of them out on my own. You could get tested to see what's going on. Fermented foods (soy sauce) are high in histamines and there are also lots of common allergens in Asian fusion foods (soy, shellfish, nuts). No idea if that helps but that's my experience. It seems to be aligned with times when I've been glutened recently and the hives seem to appear in places where I get DH. The effect doesn't seem very consistent but I've noticed it seems to occur more often with alcohol or other high histamine foods. I break out in hives sometimes after certain meals or food products. If whatever got into my mouth or respiratory tract then that will itch too. I am allergic to a bunch of stuff (mostly environmental, but also soy) and my go-to reaction for all of these is hives. At some stores you can make a request through the customer service desk. Some grocery stores like Publix will happily order products for you if you if their suppliers can offer it to them.
